Meet The Experts

Daiva Byrne

After starting her career in London with Ernst & Young and Thompson Reuters, Daiva left to pursue her passion for poker, becoming a professional player. In 2017, she founded FLIP (Fantastic Ladies in Poker), which has since grown into the world’s largest female-only poker community with over 9,000 members.

Dedicated to increasing women’s participation, Daiva works with major festivals and leading operators to create inclusive events and welcoming spaces for new players.

Tim Chong

Tim is the co-founder and CEO of Yonder, a leading UK fintech redefining credit card reward points. Founded in 2020, Yonder has raised over £110M from investors including LocalGlobe, Northzone, Seedcamp, and Jigsaw. Previously Head of Product at ClearScore, Tim led launches across the UK, South Africa, India, and Australia, serving 12 million users. With a background in consulting and financial inclusion initiatives across Asia and Africa, he is passionate about building purposeful businesses.

Raina Brands

Raina is an expert in organisational behaviour and gender equality at UCL’s School of Management. A former London Business School faculty member and co-founder of Career Equally, her research explores how bias and social networks affect women’s careers. Featured in The New York Times and Harvard Business Review, she helps organisations build fairer, more inclusive workplaces.
