Studio 8095 has been 10 years in the making. It began in 2015, in my first job out of university - an experience I can only describe as a baptism by fire. A start-up with all the right ingredients to be brilliant and a challenger in its category but a questionable culture. Colleagues made to unwillingly fight in sumo suits in the middle of the office. On the spot dismissals. Chaos dressed up as leadership.

I left after six weeks.

That experience taught me one thing: brilliance in business doesn’t mean brilliance with people. Today, 76% of UK employers report difficulty in finding candidates with the right balance of technical and soft skills.

Studio 8095 is on a mission to close that gap.
